The company was founded in August 2018 by Chris Brooks. Chris is a professional developer with many decades of experience working in the corporate space. As an avid gamer, it had always been his dream to escape the drudgery of corporate America and launch a game studio of his own.
Our first offering was not a game at all. It is a tool that helps facilitate raffles and drawings. Users can create their own themes, and many shapes bounce around the screen.
We make games that we want to play. We aren't chasing after the industry standard of profit over content. We don't follow the trends to cash in on the latest craze.
We don't even have a rogue-lite deck builder in the works :)
Instead, we focus on games that spark our interest.
Games with depth that we think people will enjoy.
We are currently working on a game called Catacomb Crashers.
Catacomb Crashers is a programmatic, turn-based strategy game where monsters battle across player-generated maps. Each monster has unique abilities and provides vastly different styles of play. There are currently 9 distinct monsters in the game and that is increasing regularly.
We also provide an API and debugging tools for developers to create their own monster brains. These brains can be plugged into monsters at run time and played directly in the game. This way developers can compete against each other to see who has the best monster. Monster brains can in turn be downloaded by players to use in their games as well.
